Today In Horror History

May 3, 1996
On this day in Horror History, The Craft made it’s theatrical debut. The cult film follows 4 teenage witches and their exploits while being ostracized in high school, their vengeance on those whom have tormented them and ultimately their mistrust of each other. With Robin Tunney, Neve Campbell, Rachel True, and Fairuza Balk who is actually a Wiccan, it would prove a casting success. With the knowledge of Balk and one of the first times the Kodak EXR 200T 5287 was used for a feature film, the ’96 release has stood the test of time nearly 20 years later.
