Today In Horror History

February 22, 1969
On this day in Horror History, actor Thomas Jane was born. Familiar to the horror genre in countless ways, his resume is incredible to say the least. With leading roles in The Mist (2007), Dreamcatcher (2003), and the popular Punisher reboot as Frank Castle himself, Jane has shown a multitude of talent in some very arduous and memorable roles. Even more peculiar, is his place in several smaller budget horror films like The Tripper (2006), which have shown that his love for film is not limited to the blockbusters that he has blessed throughout the years. Keep an eye on the acting veteran, for his role in “Pawn Shop Chronicles” slated for a 2013 release, acting opposite of The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus.

“I like broad comedies, hard core action, serious drama, science fiction, I love horror films. What draws me to them is their purity of vision that they are exactly what they say they are - that their a great embodiment of a horror film or a great drama. I guess that's what draws me to a film - the quality of a film.”-Thomas Jane
